ASOS, Boozt, and Selfridges join FASHION LEAP FOR CLIMATE. About 100 brands from their portfolios will access tools and an 8-week course. Cascale adds 25 participants. Co-founders ABOUT YOU, Zalando, YOOX aim for decarbonisation industry-wide.
ASOS, Boozt, and Selfridges have joined FASHION LEAP FOR CLIMATE, a programme co-founded in 2022 by ABOUT YOU, YOOX NET-A-PORTER, and Zalando. This initiative empowers fashion brands to measure carbon footprints and set science-based targets. With Cascale as a partner, 25 additional brands from its global network are joining, creating a wave of climate-focused collaboration.
The programme offers an 8-week immersive course, free of cost, designed by Quantis, a sustainability consultancy under BCG. It provides tools, expert guidance, and step-by-step instructions to measure and reduce corporate carbon emissions. Participants also access insights and networking opportunities to foster decarbonisation across the fashion industry.
ASOS and Boozt have integrated this initiative with their existing sustainability frameworks, while Selfridges seeks practical solutions for decarbonisation. The co-founders believe industry collaboration will help set new sustainability standards, with participants achieving measurable climate impacts. Quantis reports that 85% of brands involved since 2022 have increased their understanding of climate science and action.
By inviting more than 100 brands from ASOS, Boozt, and Selfridges’ portfolios, this expansion amplifies the initiative’s reach. Cascale further enriches the programme by mobilising its global community of 300+ stakeholders. Leaders emphasize that addressing Scope 3 emissions—those indirectly related to supply chains—is critical for the industry to meet its climate goals.
