Uber Eats launches beach delivery service on ten Spanish beaches. Last summer, over 1,000 orders were placed at Playa de las Canteras. Now, with pick-up points along the coast, deliveries are more efficient. Enjoy a wide range of products without leaving your towel!
This summer, Uber Eats is rolling out its delivery services to ten popular beaches across Spain. With this new offering, beachgoers can order food and groceries directly to their spot on the sand. Last summer at Playa de las Canteras, more than 1,000 orders were placed, demonstrating high demand.
To enhance efficiency, Uber Eats has established strategic pick-up points along the Spanish coast. These points will make it easier for delivery drivers to find their customers. Ricardo Pabon, Marketing Director for Spain and Portugal, said, "This summer, we want to reach every corner of Spain."
The service is available at Can Pere Antoni Beach (Mallorca), En Bossa Beach (Ibiza), Llevant Beach (Benidorm), San Juan Beach (Alicante), Port Saplatja Beach (Valencia), Playa de las Canteras (Las Palmas), Playa de la Concha (San Sebastián), Playa de Lloret de Mar (Costa Brava), Playa de Villananitos (San Pedro del Pinatar-Murcia), and Praia de Samil (Vigo).
Uber Eats users can choose from over 17,000 shops and restaurants. "From today, our product catalogue is available on some of Spain's most iconic beaches," added Pabon. Additionally, Uber has expanded its ride-hailing services to vacation islands like Mallorca and Tenerife, ensuring comprehensive coverage for tourists.
