Alexa+ can now build grocery lists, adjust quantities, and suggest meals. The feature works with Amazon Fresh and partners like Uber Eats.
Amazon is taking voice shopping to the next level. Alexa+ can now understand casual chat and build a grocery list. You can ask for “everything for banana bread” and leave out specific items. It works with Amazon Fresh and Uber Eats, too.
Alexa+ can adjust order quantities mid-conversation. Say “make it two and a half gallons instead of one,” and it updates instantly. It even suggests meals based on guests—like pasta for a five-year-old. No more guessing what to cook.
Alexa+ launches in March at $19.99/month, but Prime members get it free. It will roll out as an upgrade to existing Alexa devices. Amazon hopes this makes Alexa a must-have for daily tasks, not just a voice assistant.
This upgrade is Amazon’s latest push to dominate smart shopping. With seamless grocery orders and meal planning, Alexa+ is becoming a true assistant. If this works, expect even deeper AI integration in everyday life.
