Amazon launches Buy with Prime for Salesforce Commerce Cloud, allowing merchants to offer Prime benefits like fast, free delivery and trusted checkout within their own stores.
Amazon just made life easier for Salesforce merchants. The new Buy with Prime integration lets online sellers offer Prime benefits—fast delivery, trusted checkout, and easy returns—directly on their sites. Rolling out today by invitation, the feature goes live for all U.S. merchants later this year. The goal? Higher conversion rates, seamless shopping, and access to millions of Prime members.
For the first time, merchants can enable search and filter tools for Prime-eligible items. Shoppers can now mix Prime and non-Prime items in one cart and check out together. Amazon claims Buy with Prime boosts shopper conversion by 25%. With three out of four Buy with Prime purchases coming from new customers, this is a win for merchants looking to grow.
Orders placed through Buy with Prime tap into Amazon’s logistics network. Merchants using Amazon’s Multi-Channel Fulfillment get a 97%+ on-time delivery rate. Average delivery speed? Just 1.9 days—over 50% faster than competitors. This means lower out-of-stock rates, better efficiency, and happier customers.
Retailers attending the 2024 National Retail Federation’s Retail’s Big Show from Jan 14-16 can sign up early. Amazon invites merchants to visit booth #6020 for more details. As Amazon VP Peter Larsen puts it, "Salesforce merchants now have more flexibility while maintaining their brand identity." The future of e-commerce just got faster.
