Austrian Post introduces AllesPost Deutschland, a service allowing Austrian customers to use a German address for international shopping. Almost 90% of Austrian online shoppers have faced issues with deliveries. This service aims to solve that.
Austrian Post has introduced AllesPost Deutschland, a service aimed at enhancing the cross-border e-commerce experience for Austrian shoppers. This service provides Austrian customers with a German address they can use to shop internationally, even if the website does not ship to Austria. The service is free to register, and each shipment costs €7.49 ($8.15).
According to Peter Umundum, chief parcel and logistics officer at Österreichische Post, "Our market research shows that almost 90% of Austrian online shoppers have already wanted to order goods that could not be delivered to Austria but could be delivered to Germany." This significant demand prompted the development of AllesPost Deutschland to meet customer needs.
To use AllesPost Deutschland, customers simply register for the service and receive a German address. When shopping online, they enter this address at checkout. The parcel is picked up by a cooperation partner and handed over to Austrian Post, which then delivers it to the Austrian address the next day.
The AllesPost Deutschland service aims to improve the overall online shopping experience for Austrian customers by enabling flexible and occasion-related shipping to Austria. This ensures that customers can access products not available domestically, making international shopping more seamless and accessible.
