Haroun Saleemi, Quiz’s head of ecommerce, said, "Quiz has always been present on the international Debenhams site, but this relaunch marks a new chapter with new ownership on the UK platform." Quiz offers versatile clothing, focusing on occasion wear that meets Debenhams customers' needs for special events.
Boohoo bought Debenhams' brand and website for £55M in January 2021 and relaunched it as Debenhams.com in April that year. Boohoo's latest trading update shows a slowing sales decline and strong growth in the Debenhams marketplace, praised for its capital-light, stockless model that drives high margin growth.
