Wix and Worldline announced a strategic partnership to transform SME eCommerce. Wix’s all-in-one platform will integrate with Worldline’s localized payment solutions. This will allow businesses in Europe and Asia Pacific to streamline online sales. It combines Wix’s tools for online store management with Worldline’s local payment capabilities.
Worldline users gain access to Wix’s advanced eCommerce features. These include product catalogs, order and inventory management, marketing tools, and more. Meanwhile, Wix users can process payments via Worldline's local card schemes, digital wallets, and credit cards. This seamless integration aims to boost revenue and gross payment volume (GPV) for SMEs globally.
Anthony Scaglione, EVP at Wix, said the partnership offers SMEs a powerful commerce solution. “Merchants can build their ideal online store while accessing localized payment services.” Worldline’s Marija Nakevska added, “Wix’s tools empower businesses to customize their presence. Combined with Worldline, merchants streamline payments, enhancing customer satisfaction.”
This partnership launches in phases across Europe and Asia Pacific. It connects Wix’s 200M+ users with Worldline’s expertise in domestic payment schemes. In 2023, Worldline served 1M businesses and generated $5B in revenue. Together, the two companies aim to redefine eCommerce for SMEs worldwide, offering competitive fees and frictionless payments.
