Wolt's new service allows residents of Helsinki, Espoo, and Vantaa to send parcels in under an hour. The company uses its existing courier network and app.
Wolt has launched a new parcel delivery and pickup service. It starts in Helsinki, Espoo, and Vantaa. Parcels arrive in less than an hour. The company aims to meet growing demand for same-day deliveries. Both individuals and businesses can use it.
The service works like ordering food on Wolt. Customers select the "Parcels" option, enter pickup and delivery addresses. Wolt couriers pick up the package and deliver it directly. Real-time tracking is available in the app.
Wolt wants to simplify parcel shipping. "It's as easy as ordering food," says Kirsi Soldan, Head of Customer Service. She used Wolt to get a winter jumpsuit from across town instead of picking it up herself.
For now, Wolt is testing the service in Helsinki. If successful, it could expand to other cities. This move signals Wolt’s push to become a full-scale logistics platform beyond food delivery.
