Zalando will be the sole retailer for Diane von Furstenberg in 25 European countries, boosting its luxury segment.
Zalando is now the exclusive retailer for Diane von Furstenberg in 25 European markets. The deal strengthens Zalando’s luxury fashion segment. DVF will still sell on its own webshop and in its Brussels boutique. The brand has been part of Zalando’s designer lineup since 2018.
DVF aims to attract a younger audience through Zalando’s digital storytelling. “Zalando shares our vision to empower women,” said Diane von Furstenberg. Zalando’s “Designer Experience” offers a premium shopping journey, helping DVF expand its reach.
To celebrate the deal, Zalando and DVF will launch a joint marketing campaign in March. The campaign will highlight DVF’s iconic designs and Zalando’s seamless shopping experience. This marks another step in Zalando’s push into high-end fashion.
Zalando has been focusing on luxury fashion since early 2024. The company is competing with Farfetch and Net-a-Porter for a share of the high-end market. This DVF deal positions Zalando as a stronger player in the premium fashion space.
Will Zalando’s luxury strategy pay off?
