Zalando has unveiled a new unified platform called "Zalando Partner" to centralize its partner services, including wholesale, marketing, and logistics. This move aims to enhance the usability of its offerings and foster a leading European fashion ecosystem.
On September 25, 2024, Zalando SE, based in Berlin, introduced a new centralized platform called "Zalando Partner." This platform consolidates multiple partner services such as wholesale, the partner program, connected retail, marketing, and logistics into one user-friendly interface. According to a company statement, this initiative is designed to provide partners with easy access to comprehensive information about Zalando's partnership models, all presented with a uniform appearance.
As part of this restructuring, Zalando Marketing Services (ZMS) was rebranded as Zalando Partner Marketing Services. This unit has been expanded to include additional service offerings, further enhancing the support available to partners. Andreas Antrup, Senior Vice President Partner Services, emphasized that this move is pivotal in Zalando's goal to create a leading European fashion and lifestyle ecosystem. "We want to give our partners the tools they need to compete in e-commerce," said Antrup.
Antrup highlighted that the changes are intended to simplify access to Zalando’s marketing and logistics services, empowering brands to maximize their success on the platform. The unified portal is expected to streamline processes, allowing partner companies to fully leverage Zalando's extensive e-commerce network and resources.
In addition to the launch of Zalando Partner, the company also introduced its first adaptive children’s collection under the Friboo and Yourturn Kids labels. This collection, launched on September 27, 2024, includes 29 items designed to meet the needs of children with impairments. Markus Breitsameter, head of design textiles, noted that feedback from parents and caregivers was integral in the development of these adaptable clothing items, further expanding Zalando’s adaptive fashion line that began with adult apparel in 2022.
