CEVA Logistics launched FORPLANET, offering low-carbon solutions like reusable packaging and sustainable fuels. This aligns with their 2050 net-zero target under CMA CGM Group.
CEVA Logistics launched CEVA FORPLANET on January 3, 2025. The sub-brand focuses on low-carbon logistics to reduce environmental impacts. It includes sustainable transport options and circular economy practices. Customers can now measure CO2e emissions precisely for better reporting. This aligns with global sustainability goals and rising demand for green supply chain solutions.
As part of CMA CGM Group, CEVA aims for net zero by 2050. Its operational strategies include reducing scope 3 emissions, which account for 95% of its footprint. In 2024, CEVA avoided 26,000 tons of CO2e using sustainable fuel. The fleet now includes 1,000+ electric and low-carbon vehicles. Modal shifts, like using rail and barges, further cut road emissions.
CEVA collaborates with industries like automotive and healthcare to develop circular economies. Closed-loop systems and reverse logistics enhance resource efficiency. Reusable packaging solutions saved 10,000 kilograms of plastic in early 2024. These efforts aim to eliminate single-use packaging in supply chains.
CEVA’s commitment earned it a gold medal from EcoVadis, placing it in the top 1% of logistics firms. CEO Mathieu Friedberg called sustainability a core principle. CEVA FORPLANET highlights this dedication by driving industry-wide change through sustainable practices. Customers can now meet their decarbonization goals more effectively.
