Shein partners with NTX to use AI for faster fashion production. New designs can be launched in 7 days, with delivery in 5 days. The eco-friendly Cooltrans technology reduces environmental impact and speeds up the entire process.
Shein has teamed up with NTX Group to bring AI technology into its fast fashion production. This collaboration aims to speed up Shein's production process significantly. By leveraging AI, Shein can launch new fashion products in just seven days, with delivery fulfillment in only five days after that. This is much quicker than traditional fashion production methods.
NTX's Cooltrans technology is a key part of this partnership. Cooltrans uses AI-powered cold transfer printing to create ready-to-sew fabric in just days instead of months. This waterless, eco-friendly process not only speeds up production but also reduces the environmental footprint. Major sports and denim brands are already using this technology to accelerate their operations.
Shein's vast reach makes it the perfect partner for NTX. Shein reaches over 53 million users across more than 150 countries. In 2023, its shopping app was downloaded 261.9 million times. With a massive TikTok presence and over 84 billion hashtag views, Shein is one of the fastest-growing online fashion retailers, especially in the US market.
Charles Duan, managing partner of NTX Group, said, "AI and fashion are logical partners. We are thrilled to contribute our AI expertise to major brands and emerging fashion companies that want to follow trends and sell their products on the Shein platform." This partnership is expected to revolutionize the fast fashion industry by combining AI technology with innovative textile manufacturing.
